Role Overview

We are looking for a SAP FI&CO Expert. You will be a Partner for the SAP Financial and Controlling teams from the CIO organization, around this specific scope.

As a SAP FICO Expert, the ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the SAP FI&CO modules and also a high level of knowledge around business process expertise, and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the best and modern solution within the SAP ecosystem ; being consequently a key partner for the Business Areas. Also, you are someone able to understand the editor roadmap in regards with SAP S4HANA and ensure consistency and recommendations with respect to the Alten solution.

Where you will work

You will work within the International Back Office & Transformation Area at CIO Alten Group Organization level (an amazing internal team with more than 300 motivated, committed and nice people in a multinational company with more than 57 000 employees); which is in charge (among other Back Office Information Systems) to Maintain, to implement and to improve SAP ERP context within Alten Group Entities; and to put in place the roadmap for the Digital Transformation of the Company at short, mid and long term vision. This is not a position to work for Clients, but to work internally in the CIO organization team of the Alten Group to achieve the goal of the Digital Transformation of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and facilitate business process discussions, solution design and documentation, configuration, test, and end-user support
• Provide inputs in promoting and implementing best-practice solutions (business processes and SAP functionality); proactively address problems and troubleshoot Project issues
• Provides technical and/or functional direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of large-scale, enterprise applications projects.
• Support SAP Finance function and applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, projects, and enhancements.
• Scope and estimate business requirements.

• Ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
• Experience around requirement analysis and processes analysis/improvements in regards with the implementation and use of an ERP system
• Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
• Experience moving requirements to Design phase and after to setup and configuration.
• Highly motivated, analytical, flexible, agile and dynamic, committed person, and used to work within an international and multicultural team; as well as with the ability to dialogue directly (excellent level of communication skills) with different profiles/ professional levels
• Technical expertise around ERP customizations, developments, enhancements and improvements, and interface management.
• Highly motivated for the Digital Transformation and taken advantage of the new technologies and SAP versions to promote and lead the change and the transformation of the Company.
• High level of understanding of Financial and controlling business processes
• Strong knowledges on SAP
• Expertise FI (AP, AR, GL, AA) and CO modules
• Knowledges of SAP-PS (Project System) and FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) would be appreciate
• Knowledges of LSMW, IDOC, ABAP reading

Qualifications and experience

• Engineering/ Economics or Business Administration/ Technology bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience). [BAC+5]
• Master’s degree in Business or Technology will be high valuable
• Knowledge and experience around SAP S4HANA
• From 3 to 7 years of experience working across a range of implementations/projects, maintenance activities and upgrades/migrations of SAP ERP.
• Background in Enterprise service, or industrial CIO organisation is preferred.
• English level: demonstrated high level (or equivalent official certification). French language will be a “plus”
• SAP Certified in FICO module will be high valuable. Exceptional knowledge around SAP FI&CO Suite is in any case mandatory
