System Engineer – Unified Communication Specialist H/F

Role Overview


Unified Communication Specialist provides technical leadership and implementation on Mail services (Microsoft 365 Solution) and Teams service Management.
Unified communication include all tools related to phone management (hardware & Software, number management Lifecycle) Meeting room ( equipment & configuration) all mail object lifecycle, Mail security (ie Filtering) application interaction with messaging protocol.

Key Roles, Responsibilities & Skills

  • Manages Teams interconnections with other technologies such as email, Active Directory, SharePoint, Office 365, Mobile devices, Audio Visual systems
  • Manage Mail services (M365/ Exchange) including mail Filtering (Such as IronPort / M365 filtering solution)
  • Knowledgeable on Powershell Language and Automation (Azure Automation)
  • Configures and manages room based Teams Technologies
  • Supports day to day operations and projects for Unified communication Scope (Mail, Teams, and related services)
  • Gathers technical requirements and translates requirements into hardware and software capabilities
  • Communicates technical architecture direction and coordinates technical proof of concept analyses
  • Responsible for Communication services strategy and infrastructure technology architecture
  • Liaise with other global IT entities (Infrastructure, Datacenter, Business IT functions) and business stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the network services to the needs of the group business
  • Leads infrastructure implementation, tuning, maintenance plan and compliancy in ISO/TISAX context
  • Diagnoses issues, researches solutions, and coordinates resolution
  • Designs and configures Teams usage policies and governance structure
  • Provide at any time deep insight into product and performance, analysis of relevant technology and vendor evolution, competition, market dynamics and major developments across Unified Comms
  • Act as a subject matter expert with respect to the competition and the product suite
  • Act as a facilitator/mediator amongst the cross functional teams that need to work together
  • Ensure optimal operation of all Corporate Voice & Video hardware and applications
  • Manage Phone solution around teams and evolution based on ROI calculation and Solution evolution
  • Knowledgeable around Licences management and provider management
  • Enforces policies and procedures for maintaining the security and integrity of the system and ensures the system meets availability and disaster recovery requirements
  • Participate in migration process for Mail service (with or without tooling)
    Provide Incident resolution for systems errors related to email, instant messaging
  • Complete standardized changes as scheduled
  • Manage major incidents by reporting and escalating according to documented guidelines
  • Document and develop report for services

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience)
• > 5 years years of experience in IT technical positions
• Background in Enterprise service, outsourcing, or CIO organisation is preferred.
• Fluent English
• Driver’s license (B)
• Valid EU work permit
