V.I.E AIT Mechatronics engineer (M/F)

YOU…

  • are responsible for the pre-assembly and integration of mechanical components such as brackets, spacers, and fastening systems
  • install and route electrical components within complex system architectures
  • integrate test and measurement equipment, including sensors, thermistors, heaters, and accelerometers
  • perform electrical and mechanical assembly work in accordance with space industry standards
  • support verification, testing, and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

YOU…

  • fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
  • have successfully completed training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., technician) or a comparable qualification
  • have hands-on experience with cabling and connection technologies such as crimping, clamping, and soldering
  • are familiar with electrical integration, including connectors, grounding systems, and wiring
  • have experience using mechanical assembly tools like torque tools and fastening systems
  • are experienced in handling measurement and test equipment, including sensor systems and temperature measurement tools
  • ideally have knowledge of ESA-certified processes in electrical and mechanical integration
  • have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus and a collaborative approach
